Hi ! Welcome to Antietam Creek Canoe Co.'s "webette". We have a Canoe Livery and Antique shop in an Old Power Plant up here on historic Antietam Creek [ today's water level ], within an hour of Washington and Baltimore.... Antiquing, canoeing, tubing, fishing or just plain fiddling around.

NOTE: Antietam Creek , after a nightmare of low water for the last 2 years, is making it's comeback. Since late October 2002 the creek has held water well above canoeing zero. It probably means that the ground water table is back up to snuff as well.

We will open up the canoe livery again on March 15 2003 with pre scheduled weekend and weekly trips from Funkstown to Devil's Backbone in high water. And Devil's Backbone through Antietam Battlefield and to the Potomac at normal levels (2.5-3.2)

We will continue giving instruction on River Safety and running ACA certification and skill courses: canoe, recreational and sea/touring kayak through ACC, CAPCO, Potomac Outdoors [DC Area] and River and Trail [Harpers Ferry Area]

	We run a small full service canoe livery and shuttle on the 22 canoeable [which may not be a word] miles of The Antietam from Funkstown to the Potomac .[ water levels, canoeing information or send us an EMAIL for specifics]
	We operate two antique shop (s), with Internet services, repair facilities, display rooms, parts, accessories and lots of confusion. We don't specialize, but generally deal in nineteenth century styles, country and refined; furniture, lighting, cast iron, stoneware, rugs, smalls etc.. [antique information]

We are located near Boonsboro Maryland in the (work in process) 1st hydro-electric power plant in Washington County, at Devil's Backbone, where MD rt. 68 crosses the Creek. 19005 Lappans Road - Boonsboro, MD 21713. Come on up, or down if that makes more sense...... and bring oatmeal cookies.
